1. We are the only online course that provides comprehensive information covering two years of feeding your child. We start with information you need to know in the maternity ward and follow up to two years when the child is completely adapted to eating your family food. 2. We cover all major topics, including breastfeeding, infant formula feeding and complementary feeding (weaning). 3. We provide recommendations based on the best available evidence, by using recommendations from the World Health Organization and UNICEF. 4. We cover not only the basics and what and how to do, but explain why, so you understand why any recommendation is made and can make an informed decision on what is best for your baby and you. 5. All our course instructors have extensive background in nutrition and public health, and are able to provide the most comprehensive and evidence-based advice.
It will take you about six hours to complete all video lessons. We also provide further reading materials, that might take you another 4-5 hours to read.
The course mostly consists of videos; they take about 90% of overall time to complete. It also includes limited amount of text. Each of the sessions has a quiz at the end to ensure that you understood the materials. Almost every lesson has an associated forum - we encourage you to use it if you have any questions and to discuss the concepts with other learners. We also provide further reading materials in case you want to learn more about certain topics.
No. As this course targets parents and soon-to-be-parents, and it is not utilized for professional environments, we do not issue certificates.
