FAQ
Everything you wanted to know but were afraid to ask
We are a registered charity in Switzerland with the vision to support the achievement of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals for all by leveraging technology and innovations, specifically to enable and to support people to live healthy and productive life.
We are working to support all pregnant women and parents of children aged under two years old to help them to give their children the best start in life, by providing complete, accurate, reliable, appropriate and timely information right to their phone when they need it. Our goal is to bring this information to every family, to ensure that every mother and every father are equipped with the knowledge to care about their children during pregnancy and the first two years of their life.
The first 1000 days of life - between a woman’s pregnancy and her child’s second birthday - is a unique period of opportunity when the foundations for optimum health and development across the lifespan are established. The right nutrition and care during the 1000-day window influences not only whether the child will survive, but also their ability to grow, learn and develop.
We are always looking for people who share our vision. You can help us to save a life by donating your time for the social media support or by donating money. You can also help us in translating our training materials to other languages, or by organizing our mom's get together. Furthermore, you can just reach out to us with your idea, - we are always happy to hear from people who share our mission!
Here is what you can expect from us depending on when you subscribe. We will send you one email between zero and three weeks of your pregnancy. Between the 4th and the 41st weeks of the pregnancy, we will send you weekly emails with information on the development of your baby and what happens in your body. Once you deliver a baby, please do not forget to change your preferences to receive our post-pregnancy emails with the information about your child's development. We will send you emails with developmental milestones, danger signs and what you can do to encourage better development of your child when they are 2, 4, 6, 9, 12, 18 and 24 months old. Once every three months we will email you the summary of changes on our website. If you have not indicated your due date or a date of your child's birthday, or if the latter indicates that they are more than two years old, this quarterly email will be the only email you receive from us.
We offer courses for pregnant women and parents of children aged below two years old. They are aimed to support your and your babies' happiness, health and development.
We are currently working with several partners to develop courses based on the latest available evidence. If you would like to get notified when a new course is available, please subscribe to our newsletter or write to [email protected].
As of now, we are launching courses in English only, but we aim to translate them to as many languages as possible. If you are interested to support us with translation of the course's content to your local language, please get in touch at [email protected].
We are currently working on this. Subscribe to receive weekly development summaries about your pregnancy or your baby's development, and we will notify you once the app is launched.
We provide complete, accurate, reliable, appropriate and timely information that you can trust. All our information is based on the recommendations from the leading international health organizations with links to the source, so you can find more information or check its correctness. All our content is written by women, who are also public health specialists working in different countries with leading UN agencies and NGOs.
It will be free. We are a registered charity and we develop the app to improve health and well-being of people who use it, rather than seeking to profit from it.
